Today, The Hundreds announced their latest collaboration with artist Scott Patt.
The collection features three new t-shirts in white, yellow and blue, as well as a ‘dad hat’. The black “High Horse” strapback cap comes on a brushed cotton twill construction and features an unstructured 6-panel crown with a curved visor and Scott Patt’s “High Horse” graphic embroidered on the front and side panels.
After painting everyday for his yearlong project “Bigger. Smaller. Funnier.,” artist Scott Patt (@scottpattstudio) compiled 369 individual pieces of work—each featuring a witty, irreverent sense of humor that touches upon the human condition. The Hundreds’ Senior Art Director and friend of Scott Patt, Dave Kinsey, brought our attention to the artist’s accomplishment. Inspired by both the artwork and his relentless artistic introspection, we’ve partnered up to adapt three of his original designs into a collection of T-shirts and hats. “The great exploration of life is that we get inspired by somebody and then we try to make our own thing. Ultimately, the more you push it and drive it, it gets into your own voice. That takes time and effort,” says Scott Patt in our The Hundreds Magazine Spring/Summer 2016 issue interview.
For the The Hundreds by Scott Patt lookbook imagery, the concept was to frame the collaborative T-shirts and hat in a gallery setting to allow each piece to stand on its own, mirroring the solo show that Patt himself had for “Bigger. Smaller. Funnier.”
All of the items available are limited edition and cost $36.00 a piece, and can be bought at flagship locations, select retailers (listed below), and on their online shop from Thursday, April 14th.
