First NFL game at Twickenham

On Sunday 23rd October I headed up to Twickenham Stadium in London for the second of three NFL International Series games in the UK, this one taking place at the iconic rugby ground for the first time in the history of the NFL.

The NFL International Series is back again this year, and I managed to get tickets for games two and three.

The second game was held at London’s Twickenham Stadium, famous for hosting many a rugby game over the years since it was built in 1907. It was a nice change from Wembley, and one can only assume it was mainly for the NFL to scope out the possibility of moving a franchise to the UK. The Jags have been heavily linked with a move to London on a permanent basis, and you’d think that Wembley wouldn’t be a feasible option for the Jacksonville side.

I had the chance to meet with two time Super Bowl winner David Diehl and Hall of Famer Orlando Pace, as you can see from the photos above.

All in all, a great day and looking forward to the next game on the 30th.

Double rum and coke; no ice. I make stuff on the internet, love The Weeknd, The Walking Dead, Manchester United, hip-hop and buying ''too many'' hats and shoes.
