Hey,

I’m Jamie

Hi! I’m Jamie Dąbrowiecki, though you may know me online as jdab.

I was born in Exeter in 1994 and have lived in the area my entire life.

I am a website designer and developer specialising in WordPress. I have been a hobbyist from my early teens and creating websites in a professional capacity since 2013. I am also a General Translation Editor at WordPress.

A staple in my life is my favourite football team, Manchester United. I have been a fan my entire life, taking after my Dad who also supports them. My day-to-day plans revolve around United’s fixture list and I try to get to Old Trafford as many times as possible each season.

I regularly play video games such as Call of Duty, ARK: Survival Evolved and Rocket League – I occasionally stream these on my Twitch channel @jdab.

I also love to travel to new places whenever I get the opportunity – you can see some of these places on my photo diary.

Website Developer @ Cosmic

2013 - Present

I joined Cosmic in January 2013 and completed a year-long apprenticeship in Business Administration and was subsequently offered a full-time role at the company within the web team.

My role sees me primarily designing and developing websites for businesses, non-profits and sole traders all around the South West and beyond, as well as providing support for existing website customers on the use of their content management systems.

I also provide training and consultancy for organisations to help them maximise the impact of their websites and supply them with the necessary skills to make updates themselves.

I pride myself in being able to share knowledge in an easily digestible manner to our clients, as well as being able to work with inspiring companies and individuals all over the world.

Kitchen Assistant @ Otterton Mill

2010 - 2014

My first job whilst at college. My role varied between the customer-facing front-of-house team and also supporting the chefs in the kitchen and bakery.

I worked at the Mill for four years whilst I completed my college courses and also parralel to my year-long apprenticeship in Business and Administration at Cosmic.
